Aurora Wings Challenge #71

It is time for a new challenge at Aurora Wings Challenge Blog.. Theme for this challenge is 'Inspired by Music'.. 

An easy theme since there are many of Mitzi's images make me remember of some of my favourite music or songs.. But this time I want to use Snow Queen ... which inspired from 1st mov. of Winter from Vivaldi's Four Season.. *and I do colouring her while listening it hihihihi* ... You can find the gorgeous Snow Queen here..  Colouring her with copic marker.. At first I want to use cool colour palette only.. but then it is too pale.. so I change her hair colour and adding some V01 for a bit accent.. hmm still not really my type actually.. She's still pale but a bit better than before hahahah... anyway she's winter... 

After that I decided to make use of this new and boring frame..

 Doing some altered with these materials.. 

First I covered the frame with white gesso and those acrylic paints.. make some texture with my brush..

then I do the same with the glass.. leave some blank space for the image on the centre.. then I attached some snowflakes die-cuts.. I use Create-a-Flake from Spellbinder..

Then I paint the base of the frame with white gesso.. attached the image.. the last thing to do is put the frame together again.. adding some silver pearls.. then taaraaaaa.. here's my new frame...

Let Us In from Aurora Wings

Made my 2nd Halloween altered project ... This time I altered a boring and unused photo frame.. And use it to showcase the cute kiddos image from Mitzi, Let Us In which you can find here..  Colouring the image with copic marker.. after finished I cover it with Studio Multi-medium Gloss, then spray some Dylusions ink spray (Ground Coffee)..

As for the frame I use Prima Finnabair White Crackle paste, then after dried spray it with Dylusions Ink Spray (Ground Coffee) till I've got the colour I wanted.. Then I add the decoration (chipboard from SAC and alpha parts from Tim Holtz) after paint them with Prima Finnabair Acrylic Paint (Metallique Rusty Red)... And here's my new frame..
