This card is for mid-challenge inspiration at Aurora Wings Challenge Blog.. Theme for this challenge is Sprites..
Arrghh at first I want to make another mini album using some cute sprites.. but suddenly I have to escort a new group and need time to search and learn the guiding materials ... hiks.. seems I need to postpone making my 'sprite album' *sigh*.. so .. only a simple card for this time :(
I choose to use this cutie, Whimsical Columbine Sprite which you can find here.. Colouring the cute sprite with Copic marker..
Designer paper from Graphic 45's Times Nouveau collection..
Cutting dies and paper punch use:
* Leaves set from Sizzix
* Flower and Leaves from Marianne's Design
* Pine Branch paper punch from Martha Stewart
Paper flowers from Petal Lu.. Adding some pearls and alphabet stickers.. here's my simple card..
A closer look at the cutie.. I tried the green-blue combo this time.. but looks it didn't work well *sigh*.. still couldn't find the good green-blue combo ..
Don't forget to join the challenge.. it is a good chance to have some gorgeous images from Mitzi.. This challenge runs till April 12th..
There's also a monthly challenge at Aurora Wings Facebook Group.. You can join the challenge or show off your project using Mitzi's images there..
Thank you so much for stopping by today and for leaving sweet comment.. Till the next post then.. cyaaa..
hugs,
~RoRa
RoRa, I think this green-blue combo is beautiful! Not sure why you think it didn't work - maybe not quite what you originally envisioned in your mind or maybe our monitor settings are very different... At any rate, I think the color palette is so lovey - fresh with brilliance of vitality to it, just like the green of the early spring. Your coloring is simply breathtaking on the Columbine Sprite, with smooth blend of rich azure blue on pristine white! Thank you so much for this gorgeous inspiration for our mid-challenge post of Sprite Delight V challenge at AWCB today! Mitzi xxx
