Aurora Wings Challenge #51

New challenge starts today at Aurora Wings Challenge blog.. Theme for this challenge is 'Celebration'

This time I decided to make a faux book with Birthday theme.. Using 2 cute sprites from Mitzi.. Poppy Sprite for the cover.. and Cherry Sprite for the inside.. Colouring both cutie with Copic marker..

* Flourish Leaf Strip from Cheery Lynn Design
* Butterflies from round butterfly frame by Joy Craft
* Tessatina Border from Memory Box
* Small Lacy Border from La La Land Craft
* Doily Lace edge punch from Martha Stewart
* Large Butterfly punch
* Mini Rock Fern punch
* Big Pine Branch punch

Adding paper flowers, metal filigree corners, pearls, ribbon, sentiments.. taraaa here's my faux book..

I used image from Saturated Canary 'Cinders' ... not exactly for autumn but I choose this cos of that cute pumpkin on the image <3 .. colour her with Distress ink..

Spells - A month before Halloween

woow last day of September... time flies... just a month before Halloween.. yeaay my favourite holiday hahahha... 

This time I make a faux book with Halloween theme.. this project is for Lacy Sunshine Creative Blog.. I used Annabelle Melancholy Moppet .. which I think is not actually a Halloween image... but seeing her sadly big eyes and after colouring her I decided to put her on Halloween project :p ... you can find the image here ... there are many cute images from Heather for Halloween.. personally this is my fav folder hehehhe...

I colour the image using Distress Ink...

Patterned papers used are:
* Spirited collection 'Conjure' from Authentique Paper
* Steampunk Speels collection from Graphic 45 : 'Frightful Folly' and 'Vintage Voyage'

Cutting Die used: Impression Obsession Spider Web Halloween die

Embossing powder used:
* Stampendous Aged Wine embossing enamels
* Ranger Holographic embossing powder for spiders and it's web

then the best part.. adding embellishments... black lace, black feather, small bottle filled with beads, plastic skull, pen nib, metal charms, black pearl chain and black paper flower... also adding red and black acrylic paint here and there..
