Aurora Wings Challenge #37

A new challenge starts today at Aurora Wings Challenge blog.. Theme for this month is 'Orange + Black + 1 other colour'... 

I choose to use this gorgeous image.. Anima Sola which you can find here.. Colouring her with copic marker.. with only gradation of orange - yellow and black - grey colour.. And decided to put it in the altered clock after finished colouring her.. 

Material:
* Tim Holtz' Assemblage Clock
* White Gesso
* Reeves Acrylic paint: Black and Gold
* Reeves Coarse Texture Gel
* Ranger' Stickles glitter glue: Gold
* Plastic skeleton hand
* Arianna Blooms Die from Heartfelt Creation
* Chipboard embellishments from Sister Art Creation 
   (bats, fence & spider web corner)

* Mini skulls, cheese clothes, beads and brown dried moss from my stash

And here's my altered clock.. 

and I lovveeee this cute hand skeleton toy.. <3

those cute mini skulls are awesome.. put a little bit red acrylic paint to make them a bit bloody.. <3

Frightful Halloween Altered Frame

Just having fun today, making this altered canvas for Halloween.. Post it today because I won't be around during Halloween period (October-November).. So here's the main materials.. A super cute skeleton toy isn't it .. hihihih love it so much <3

Other materials:
* Spider Web border cutting die from Sizzix
* The Crafter's Workshop' Stencils: Mini 'Art is' Script
* Reeves' Modelling Paste and Coarse Texture Gel
* Reeves' Intro Acrylic Paint: Mars Black
* Prima Marketing Art Alchemy Acrylic Paint: Deep Water & Steampunk Copper
* Halloween Chipboard Themed from Sister Art Creations
* Tim Holtz' Idea-ology Black Halloween Alpha Parts
* Dried branch, brown moss, natural fiber from my personal stash 
* Flourish Resin embellishments, cheese clothes also from personal stash

So I start with covering the canvas with black acrylic paint.. put the dies cut out *I use the back of the canvas*.. add the script motifs and some coarse texture gel.. wait till dry then re-paint with black.. after dried, using fingers add some blue metalic and copper paint to the whole area.. meanwhile I paint all embellishments with black, blue and copper (except the alpha parts with copper paint only).. the last things to do is put all the embellishments at their places.. finitooo.. so here's my altered frame..

No bloody2 for today.. due I want to try my 2 new metalic paints hohoho.. here are the details photo..

Day of the Dead Marie

Spending time making this altered bottle... using Aurora Wings image.. Day of The Dead Marie.. which you can find here..  Colour her with copic..  then apply some amount of Distress Crackle Paint Clear Rock Candy..

Dia de los Muertos

Make a card using Santa Muerte from Aurora Wings.. you can find her here... tried to finish the colouring and card within 2 hours.. fiuh.. lucky I did it yeaay.. but cannot be proud with the result hahaha... and then I learnt another lesson... next time better to print image with details like this in a bit bigger size .. sooo difficult to make colour gradation on the roses with this size (my usual card size is 14.5 x 14.5 cm) hahahha...

Spooky Blue

Made this one as the pair of my altered bottle .. using another gorgeous image from Ching-Chou Kuik.. Spooky Blue.. you can find her here.. colouring her with copic marker.. 

No designer paper for this card.. made the background with the same technique as the bottle.. and also the same cutting dies (Impression Obsession' Spider Web).. and also the same colours :D

Parrish New Orleans from Lacy Sunshine..

One day before Halloween... yeaaay... my fav holiday... :D though people in my country don't celebrate it... *so sad hiks*.. I've made this altered box for a new inspiration post at Lacy Sunshine Creative blog.. Using Parrish New Orleans which you can find here..  colour her with Copic marker..

I decided to put the image on an unused box.. *forget to take photo on the box but it is Samsung S5's box* :D

Ingredients:
* Ranger Clear Embossing Powder
* Sakura Acrylic paint red violet 
* Reeves Coarse Texture Gel
* Reeves Acrylic paint gold
* Petaloo Floral Embellishments
* Charms, pearls and metal corner

And here's the box:

Closer look at Parrish New Orleans.. tried to make crackle effect using clear embossing powder for the 1st time.. seems I failed on that... will try again next time.. :D

Evil Goth Mermaid

Made this one for Halloween card swap.. using image from Aurora Wings.. Evil Goth Mermaid with Skulls.. a gorgeous gothic image from Mitzi which you can find here.. colour her with copic marker.. 

No cutting dies use for this card.. only adding gauze fabric, lil message bottle, shell, pearls.. and sentiment.. well I just realize I don't have any halloween theme stamp.. and also couldn't print anything cause my computer still error at that time.. so I decided to hand write the sentiment.. well.. not proud with the result hahhaha.. but hope it still can be read.. *blushing*

Closer look at the image.. *uhmm* just ignore my mistake on colouring her scales... a bit sleepy .. just realize the mistake after I finished colouring it.. hahhaha

Bones Imprint Altered Bottle

New inspiration posting at Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Inspiration and Challenge Blog.. this one also the project for October challenge.. the theme is "Halloween / Something Spooky".. Using Bones Imprint image which you can find here.. colouring her with copic markers.. after finished colouring her I decided to put it on altered bottle.. I choose this rum bottle.. 

Covered the bottle with black acrylic paint.. then put some web and spider dies cut out using Impression Obsession Spider Web cutting dies.. paint all web and spider with black paint..

Then put some texture using my old acrylic paint which is already clot.. and some aged black embossing enamels (Stampendous).. 

I covered the image with Distress Clear Rock Candy Crackle Paint.. after it dried put the image on the bottle.. add some black paint on its edges.. adding pearl string, paper flowers, cute cat charm, chain with skull charm (all black or paint it with black).. after finished, put some copper acrylic paint here and there... and taraaaa.. here's the bottle after alteration:
